Because even the stars deserve a good laugh :-)
Between artistic blurs, processing mistakes, overly ambitious targets, our attempts at astrophotography sometimes looked more like abstract art or eye exams.
But every banana-shaped star taught us something, and honestly, it felt wrong not to share these glorious fails.
So here they are: our best worst shots.
Because learning is messy and occasionally hilarious.
Comet 67P - because our gear isn't made for comets...

C2019 L3 Atlas - Because... well ok, you slowly start to understand why.
SH2-86 - Because sometimes, you need at least ten times more exposure
M101 - Because it's better if you remove the Bahtinov mask
The Milky Way - Because it looks better when the star registration works...
IC 417 - Because sometimes, it's better to stop post-processing before 2AM
IC 63 - Did you say filter reflections?
The Heart Nebula - Because a 4x3 mosaic in one night was maybe not the best idea of the year
Because a real counterweight is better than a stone with duct tape
SH2-73 - Because it's it's not made for narrow-band imaging...
